The Kingdom of God
/
2 Peter 2:9 – “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness unto His wonderful light.”
Called to represent The Light of God in dark places.
- The Power, presence and reality of God is needed by the world!
- We are saved from sin and bondage for a purpose He has called us to
- In between we bring healing, light, wholeness to the world.
- In broken situations we are to bring Jesus there.
- We are called to align to His purposes
The life of the Holy Spirit is not for Holy Ghost goose bumps, but the reason we encounter the power of The Spirit is SO THAT we can be a conduit and agents of the Kingdom of God, the rule and reign of God, His authority and His power into a world that is so messed up, bleak & dark, full of the presence of evil & sin & brokenness so that we can declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light!

The Kingdom of God is God’s rule and reign on earth!
“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because he has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” – Luke 4:18
–We are to be as Christ was called, to proclaim good news, freedom, recovery of sight, and to set the oppressed free, in His name.
We will see the power of God working through us
as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit.
In the garden we handed dominion of the earth over to the enemy, but Jesus broke through and gave us His Holy Spirit to be the light to shine through the darkness. We are to declare the rule and reign of Jesus Christ speaking Kingdom Life into broken, dead and dark situations in order to bring wholeness to many.
