Peace (God With Us, Part 1)

“…the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and will call Him Immanuel.” –Isaiah 7:14

“Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress… The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.” –Isaiah 9:1-2, 6-7

“The Word became flesh & made His dwelling among us” –John 1:14

“to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become Children of God—Children not born of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” –John 1:12

“No one has ever seen God but the one and only Son, who is Himself God, and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known” –John 1:18
